On Friday, May 15th, in Amiens, Étoile de Monaco shone once again at the French Men’s Artistic Gymnastics Team Championships. Competing in Division Nationale 6 in the National A 12+ age category, the Monégasque team, composed of Aaron Brancato, Bastien Briano, Dimitri Malgras, Raphaël Malgras, and Noah Villeneuve, earned a superb silver medal and the title of French Vice-Champions with a total score of 200.5 points.
Already French Vice-Champions last season, the Monégasque gymnasts confirmed their consistency at the highest national level. They finished less than two points behind first place at the end of a particularly high-level competition against experienced teams.
Aged between 15 and 17, the Monégasques demonstrated maturity and composure throughout the event, going toe-to-toe with much more seasoned gymnasts. Several individual performances highlighted this national final, as Aaron, Bastien, and Noah each broke their personal best in the six-apparatus all-around, showing the impressive level reached by the group for this final event of the season.
This result rewards a year of hard work and dedication for the entire team. Coaches Sébastien Guizol and Kevin Crovetto, who had set a specific points target before the competition, deserve full credit for their guidance throughout the season. This final milestone brings a wonderful conclusion to a year once again marked by a national medal for the Monégasque club.
